It’s one of the first true play arounds a journo has had with it and too put it simply, it is a performance monster.  The numbers speak for themselves with a 0-100km/h in 3.3 seconds (.2 of a second faster then Nissan said it would be) and doing the sprint (AKA quarter mile) in 11.6 (same time Nissan specified). The GT-R is in super car territory for a quarter of the price a car comparable would cost.
Edmunds also loved its handling and said they could have got more out of it, if they weren’t scared of destroying it. Nissan seem to have done it again, and man do I want to drive (and own) one of these hotties.
