It is the time of the year where every geek has there fingers crossed that their partners, parents, friends, family and random strangers, may just get them that piece of technology to play with, which they have read the review for a million times, but don’t really have a need for it (I really do need a Nokia N810 you know). It is also the time when Christ did something or other and Santa Claus invented christmas trees (I think it has something to do with that?).
What I want to know is what did you guys and girls get that fits into the category of pretty much useless but very very cool? This year I was lucky enough to get a new PC, which included a Chinese case special, with an Intel E4500, 1GB DDR2 RAM, ASUS Mobo, Nvidia 8600GT and a Seagate 320GB HDD (for ‘legit’ downloads of course). I also was lucky enough to get a sweet set of Hardon Karmon SOUNDSTICKSII that I may even do a review of, though I am far from a sound expert to really give expert advice. Otherwise I got a big pile of cloths and other cool nick nacks (I love all gifts, even if they are movies made by Uwe Boll).
If you happen to stumble along my lonely little blog and have some time on your hands, please put a little blurb of the gadgets or cool things you got and what you think about them.
Imagine that, a company that actually wants to sell less products. Nintendo have decided to cancel some ads in the U.K, instead filling the spots with DS ads (like that needs help to sell). It has come up after the massive demand for the Wii this Christmas and the inability to meet it in production. Nintendo said they want to “take a responsible stance this Christmas and not fuel demand.” There may be a Wii left on the shelf this Christmas after all (sorry I was being sarcastic).

It seems I have a case of writers block. There was a time on the old Unobtainble.info blog that I could write many articles a day and feel happy with what I had done. Not so much anymore. There are certain pressures of being a father and also being a Boyfriend/Husband, that require time. This doesn’t mean I want the new Technience to die, that isn’t it at all. I am just taking a sort break to regather myself and to be a damn great father.
On the other side of thing, the people who developed the new theme, were quite frustrating to deal with. I decided to go over the seas to find a developer, who had promised a lot of work for a little money (I am not a rich fellow), and there are features they just never got to work, though they said they would have in working before they finished. They have turned the fault onto me, and therefore I am working on trying to fix a few things.
It seems as my number of readers dwindle into nothingness (could be the title of a emo song), I will work away and hopefully regain the almost greatness of the unobtainable.info page. Till then I hope you all a very Merry Christmas, and off course, a very happy new year. Hopefully this isn’t the last piece of writing you will read before the new year, but if it is I will see you all son.
