For the loyal AMD fanboys out there it may be time for that long awaited PC upgrade. Your favourite Athlons (and Semprons) are getting a price drop of up to 27.5%. The bigger drops were on the single core processors, which ranged from 22.4 per cent to 27.5 per cent, while the dual cores were between 6.2 per cent and 12.4 per cent. As well as the drops a whole range of new processors were added to the ever growing list of Athlons. I won’t list them, but if you go to The Register page they have a hell of a lot more info.
