    • ]]>     Playstation 3 is a very powerful device and uses a crap load of power to provide what it does. Not anymore though, with the release of the 40GB version of the PS3, there has been just enough removed to bring down the power usage substantially (including hardware backwards compatibility). How much you greenies ask? According to the massive Japanese games site Game Watch, it is 67 watts, which means it is now 107 watts compared to the old 174 watts. Yet another reason to buy a PS3 don’t you think?
