Hulu Premium has been in the rumor pipes for a while, but today it becomes fact. The $10USD a month service gives you the same familiar Hulu unlimited TV experience, but on you iOS4 device and TV (later this year).
If you have an iPad or iPhone 4 plus live in the US it is a much more compelling solution to your more expensive cable option. Later this year the Xbox 360 and possibly (from rumor) the PS3 will also support the premium service. Will someone please bring this to Australia?

DeathSpank is a co-op RPG for people who don’t play RPG’s. With a side of light comedy and a side of fast paced action, it is a game that makes casual gamers, like me, excited. I have mentioned the game before, but now we know a set in stone release date for both PSN and XBLA. Expect to see DeathSpank available from the only stores on July 13 for PSN and 14 for XBLA for a measly $US15.

Zune Market Place may be the best reason to buy a Zune over an iPod. It will now also be a compelling reason to buy a Xbox 360 over a Playstation 3 with Microsoft bringing its 7 million tracks instantly to any Zune subscriber with an Xbox.
Another good move from Microsoft which is sure to hurt a company (Sony) who own one of the biggest record labels in the world (SMG).

Xbox 360 has just evolved to a much more compelling device. All the things that people argued should have been available from release are now pretty much added (a couple of years late).
From built in wireless (wireless N), large 250gb hdd and much smaller physical size (including a smaller and lighter power brick). All this and the console is also quieter then the old (because it now has 1 large fan instead of the old 2 smaller fans).
While it will still play all the same old games in the same familiar way, it is does it will a tad more style (and with a built in HDMI port). They are shipping to retailers as we speak and will be priced at around the old Elite pricing (or around the same as the PS3).

That gigantic white box you have sitting in your lounge may finally be getting the upgrade it has deserved for a long time. By upgrade I mean downsize, to something a little bit easier to stomach. The picture you see before you might well be the mini motherboard for an upcoming Xbox 360 refresh.
I find it hard to believe that the GPU and CPU are now one (as you would assume from the image), but maybe Microsoft have worked some magic in that area. All we need to know now is if the red ring of death is now smaller and cuter to look at as you lose you temper, and if you will need to add another room to your house to accommodate the power brick.

You have probably heard it already, but the Xbox 360 has dropped by up to 80 Euros in Europe (derr). It is now cheaper then the Wii. Don’t expect those prices to live long though, because the rumoured 60GB Xbox is coming, and you can expect that to push the price up again.

Come December the 2nd and the Xbox 360 will be able to do what both the Wii and PS3 have been able to do for months. The 360 will get a dashboard update that will allow it to download and play Xbox 1 games. The games currently announced are Fable, Indigo Prophecy, Crimson Skies: High Road To Revenge, Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath Of Cortex, Burnout 3, and Halo: Combat Evolved.
The advantage that Microsoft has is that the Xbox 1 is a lot newer console when compared to the PS1 games you can get for the PS3 and the N64 and older you can get for the Wii. That also touches another problem though. The Xbox 1 had a DVD drive, so games were relatively large compared to the older generation consoles. This means you been have very fast internet and the Elite model (for the 120GB storage) or you may be up the creek. I guess in the end the deal breaker will be the price it costs to to buy the games.

I said that Halo 3 did well with $US170 Million in the first day. How would it sound if I told you they have now surpassed $US300 Mill in the first week? They have, and all you can do is hand over your cash to get a copy. With 40 million Live hours of online play in that first week period, Bungie must have done pretty well with this one.

We all knew it was going to happen soon enough, but what exactly is going to change? Well rumor has it that it is simply a smaller drive size of 40GB instead of the better 80GB. Another rumor says that this could be the model to compete with Xbox 360 and the Wii, aimed at the lower price and may even do away with the Blu-ray. I don’t see this as a reality. Consider the price drops of HDDs that constantly happen, and consider the fact that Sony loves their Blu-ray. There is definitely a new model coming and I will give you an update when I get a rumor that makes sense.
